You've set down with your pen so well
what lovely verse can cause
when one can hear and taste and breathe
the breath your poet draws.

When one can feel his pulse, his heart,
flood far beyond the page,
draped warmly in his written art,
Night's nearing hand assuaged.

Dear LadyClaire

Dear Meadowmuse,
How lovely your poem!
And overwhelming!
Now, could you express that in a villanelle? (Only kidding)
I don't know how to thank you.
Your poem is truly lovely
