Wilted Rose

I once had a rose
to beautiful to forget
that rose always glowed
until I had to pick it

Now that rose is fading
slowly going into my past
but my memory keeps on waning
until that rose turns to ash

I struggle for forgivness
for I made a bad mistake
that rose no longer wants me
for it seems that cruel is fate

Sometimes all it takes is an apology, have you tried?  Good luck!

This is sad indeed, Unknown - Welcome to Passions. Mistakes can be remedied...

Thanks everyone! This was my first time letting the public see one of my poems and I was kind of nervous. Glad you liked it though!

"Time can not be bought back with silver and gold," favorite words of a song. Treasure all the time you have Unkown Poet, for it surley slips away. Beautiful, just beautiful.  Have you said "I am sorry". Sometimes the simple little things works best.
