I know some of the spelling is going to be misspelled,so please forgive me.

He laid on his bed and the family gathered around He tryed to keep up a front, but I knew he wouldn't be around.

He said he enjoyed he's live, and didn't regreat a thing, but I knew there was one thing. My sister you see, She never had a family.

They were calling him, and he would be gone.I loved him so, and I want the whole world to know.

He said to me one night in his frill old voice grow up my little girl and show the world your voice, Then he turned his head, closed his eyes. I knew that was his good-bye.

Stinker, stinker I still hear him say There going to carry me away. stinker, stinker your my pride and joy.

I STILL remember that night he spoked,it haunts my memoreys. So Daddy if you can hear me I love you,I need you.  Daddy please don't die on me.

In loving memory of my Father John O. Patterson

Very beautiful poem.
I lost my dad when I was 18, he was my best friend.  It's been 20+ years and still miss him sometimes like it was yesterday. Take care and know he will always be with you.

Lost my dad when I was 8. I became mortal then....the whole world did. Then my uncle died a year later a few days before JFK, then came Martin, Bobby and Lennon.

The movie "Forrest Gump" pretty much sums up my generation.
