She touches me and all my pain melts
she knows nothing of my love
Could it have been real, what I felt,
That she is my gift from above?
Tears of ache and passion flow
She is the girl I know

She tilts her head as she smiles at me
she looks so pretty that way
Her gentle hands conduct a symphony
Oh, the music she can play
In drunken awe of her golden glow
She is the girl I know

She lifts her hands up to her face,
she sings to me this song...
“I have to move on out of this place,
won’t you come along?”
My soul wails anguish as she turns to go
She is the girl I know

"she tilts her head as she smiles at me."
This is a really wonderful poem,
and that simple gesture got me 3 kids
and a mortgage , be careful!

Wow!

Like this, samson! 'her gentle hands conduct a symphony' - excellent line.

Good to see you back here.
