Seeking out the answers,
wondering where to turn,
questions of love surround me,
I thought that I had learned.

I know deep down inside,
love does not conquer all,
the obstacles still hide me,
the walls they do not fall.

I create my own pain,
my instinct I always fail,
I ignore the inner voices,
they seem to tell a tale.

The knowledge I have been given,
through times of joy and pain,
I thought that I would use it,
insecurities still remain.

I claim to be a strong one,
wise and loving too,
but the weakness is still there,
to myself I am not true.

I need the time to heal myself,
follow all my dreams,
find the calm serenity,
take care of my own needs.

Love is not a one way door,
the other must come through,
or else the torment will begin,
to my heart I am not true.

I need to break the patterns,
be true to who I am,
and love will beckon to me,
true love cannot demand.

Solitude will find me,
as long as I break loose,
the old familiar ways of life,
a new way I must choose.

Intuition guides me,
although it seems to be,
I never recognize or trust it,
only then will I be free.

Questions of love will always be,
this we all must know,
let your instinct guide you,
let familiar comfort go...

This is beautiful, Tamera. Love is a two way door...at least the kind that lasts is! Well done!
