I want you laying next to me
Upon the tossled bed.
To look within those eyes of yours
and hear the words I've said.

I only want some time to spend
Not all the days of yore.
For every chance to be with you
It helps me to get through.

You say the words I want to hear
and looking in your eyes,
I truly think you want to be
closer at my side.

But yet the days are passing by
I wonder where you are?
How can I be a friend to you
when you're so very far?

I'm moving on away from you
You know my life is hard.
When you are ready just say the words,
I'll open up my heart.

A poem full of yearning dear, I hope you get all that you expect.
