           Fantasies goal

She walks the high wire of illusion.
And I fear sometimes to catch her eye.
To cause an unbalance of delusion.
To throw persistence off its lie.

Equilibrium must reign supreme.
To keep the stability of the norm.
Balance is the heart of regime.
It must prepare for any storm.

I would fly with her the fantasy mirage,
And phantom a camelot cosmos.
I would lie with her in this dream collage.
And enjoy the happiness of emboss.

I would toll the bells of freedoms cry.
And sail with her to a nowhere abode.
I would build a tower in the sky.
And make it part of my life encode.

I would live the life of an Ibsen soul.
If we could but join in fantasies goal.

Sy, This is a great poem, as I've been calling your work lately, it's "classic Sy". That greatest of verses I know you're capable
of writing. And you have produced so many lately. This one should also go into your first volume, I believe

Nan,
I agree with you on the first stanza thanks,
*L* Sy.
Echo,
Great is great, your pretty good yourself.
Denise,
Your comments always make my day. *L* Sy.
Hoot,
Oh my from you makes my heart go pitty pat.
*L* Sy.
Elizabeth,
You are my greatest fan and I love you. If you have been printing out my poems, you
probably have the first volume. What I should be doing is saving your poems and
my replies. Now that would make for interesting reading. Love ya Sy.

Sy, another beauty.
'...and sail with her to a nowhere abode...' - sigh...love that line, my friend.

Seymour,

I really like this one, I think it's one of your best.  As Nan pointed out, the first verse reaches out and grabs you.  Nice work.

"And phantom a camelot cosmos"

Verbing your noun here is brilliant.  Very nice work indeed.

Ah Sey, the 3rd stanza told me you are a man of many marvels!  Are you married?  If not, I do fear your list will be long now!  Fabulous read to say the uttmost least!  Applauding your ability to lull me into a lover's lare!  hehe

Wonderful comment, thank you.
Tamera,
Thank you for the read and comment.
First,
Enjoyed your comment.
PFF,
Would I, Could I, turn the clock back,
I would be there on horse, bareback.
But I've been married so long
I can't remember being single anymore.

Sy, your poetry always touches me in a place I cannot go myself, but know-- the rhythm, the rhyme, the place, the time, soooo sublime.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Seymour, there isn't much poets that use words the way you do and I mean that. Great poem once again.
