Words Words can be a flaming sword Or a tiny, mournful whine. Words can bring us freedom Or clamp us into line. Words can sing with silken voice Or sting like sharpened ice. Words can hold the gold of truth Or mask a thousand lies. Words can mortar prison bricks Or open blinded eyes. Words are just a tool we use Or a tool that uses us. Words will not deceive you When loving is your ear. Words are but a package We open to make clear. |

Words can be very powerful...they can calm your fears or tear you down. You words in this poem are powerful to my friend..I believe you have gotten your point accross wonderfully! ~*~ Hell is not a place of fire and a devil with a tail and horns. But a place of torment because the light of God is gone. To escape this, accept the blood of Jesus Christ! ~*~ |

Thank you all for the feedback. I think many frequently forget the incredible power of the written, as well as the spoken word. Still, words are only what we make of them. Here at Passions we seem to use them beautifully, wisely, with fire and with soul seaching truth. Thanks again. Chris |
