Love lit
  on my shoulder
     like a butterfly one day,

As I was
  watching you
     walk on clouds
          one Spring day.

I felt it's wings a flutter
Brushing against my cheek

When a soft faint voice whispered
"This must be love I think!"

Very nice.  Simple, to the point, and lovely.

It sure sounds like love to me! This is so beautiful, Septsong! As pretty as a butterfly it is!

I like the way you formatted this..and the lightness of the poem made it seem like a fluttering butterfly!  Good job!

Thank you all for your comments, glad you enjoyed this. It just came to me the other evening, and this is exactly how it happened some 30 years ago, somethings I guess you never forget.

This is so beautiful..light and delicate, just like the first glimpse of love is.  Wonderful!

Without a doubt, it's love and so gently and tenderly captured. Thanks.
