Resolution What becomes of us now… time has flown untouched, unsalvageable, wasted in fear Come and gone, another year Rejoicing not in love that pours, storm-like Closing windows slamming doors, so many vessels upon the floor catching drops seeping into irreparable cracks in a ceiling No patches will hold the rain Let the winds tear back the roof and the floods destroy the walls and drench me with the sea that is you © caroline 2000 It's not the love you fear, but the fall from the height~Edwin McCain |
