Millennium Prayer

Why must I write, I ask
While other mortals celebrate
Is poetry so important
That I can’t take one break

Do I forgo friendships
For a computer here at night
Somehow, this doesn’t quite compute
Doesn’t really seem right

So in the new millennium
I promise I will be
Less visible on the computer
More into my poetry!

I would much rather have you in your verse than in your PC dear Lady, but don't forget those with online virtual lives.

...don't forget to share it with us after you've written it, though! Great prayer, PdV!

You poetry is the the ribbon on the gift of your friendship.  Even without out it, it is always a blessing to find you on-line.

You were more creative on the computer than I was in front of the TV, bringing in the new mill.  Enjoyed it (your poem, that is).
