I feel your music touch my soul,
Where once was broken, now am whole,
Within my heart feel Eros' lance,
As two are one in passion's dance,
The gentle kiss of evening's breeze,
Embracing in love's harmonies,
You sing to me love's madrigal,
As from the heavens, moonbeams fall,
Song's warm caress my heart enthralls,
As come to me my Venus calls,
We dance as one to Gershwin score,
Until the dawn and night's no more,
With rising sun the music halts,
And so does end our lover's waltz,
Within my heart dance shall remain,
'Til night returns with song's refrain.

Uh....Nan, I fear your toes are gonna break off if you don't slow down a bit there......ROFLMAO !    That high speed bellydancing can be quite fatal - ya know!  Parts start flying!!!  hehe

On a serious note Mike, I envy your ability of perfect rhyme & meter!  It was flawless - 8 syllables throughout!  That's why it reads like a song!  Outstanding - I love perfect meter, however I struggle sometimes to get mine to "click" as effortlessly as yours does here!  Bravo!!!  I shall work harder, indeed!  You have shown me it is possible!  hehe

Magnificent piece, Mike.  You know, people can talk syllables and meter all they want but without passion, it's just plain flat no matter how well written.  But then, to see passion melded with such perfect form, truly there is nothing more beautiful.
