Stepping stones along my path
Each obscured from view.
Singly coming into sight
As I pass quickly through.

Blinking thoughts reveal the course,
One step at a time.
Winnow, slither, collide, return.
I stay on the line.

Welcome to the family! I liked your first entry! The font and color makes it hard to read, but it was worth it.

Poet de Vine and dsnyder,

Thank you both for taking the time to read My Path. I'll be more careful with color and font in the future. As time goes on I'll post more poems, maybe longer ones. Right now I'm really having too much fun reading other peoples work and the responses. Chris

Welcome.  I like your writing and message.  How true it is, and what a blessing, too, that we only see a little of what lies before us.

I really must have some kind of nutty sense of humour cause each time I see your name I want to go 'quack' but in a friendly way...LOL..It's not often a name makes me giggle..*g*..You have to tell me why...Please???..

Great thoughts and not an easy path either..

Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.

Thanks again for the input. In reply to RainbowGirl's giggles, I think baby ducks are one of the most adorable creatures on the planet. I have a tendency to call my husband this as a pet name. Several of the people who work for me starting referring to me as mama duck. One even made a lovely  duck sign for my office door. It's silly, but it works as a nickname. Far better than some names I'm called out of earshot, I'm sure. Chris

WELCOME!  I liked this very much!
Thank God they only come into view when we need them too. For if we knew the road that was ahead I wonder if we could walk the path.

there is no need.
