In satin pajamas
Daddy’s and mama’s
Say they’re not goin out tonite
Daddy likes something
To make him feel pretty
Something to make him feel right
That would be mama
And satin pajamas

Kiddies gone play in
Middle o’ streets
Or just as bad at
Grannies with sweets

Daddy and mama
Full o' spry and delight
Say, “we’re not goin”
“We’re not goin out tonite!”

So bottle o’ bubbly
Candles, no kids
Full o’ inspiration
But heavy eye lids

So mama and daddy
Sometimes do not fear
Sweet bedtime sweet silence
Sweet avenues lead here

Hey walt - It's nice to see someone who loves their kids as much as you do find time to appreciate the important things in their marriage as well...... Happy New Year to you both!! (all.. )

Sounds wonderful to me, but get the kids out of the middle of the street, will ya and send them to granny.  When your a parent, sometimes sweet silence is such a treat.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

As much as we love our children, sometimes it feels good for them to be with someone while we take time together to remember each other as we grow old.  Besides, I always had more fun and Grandma's house anyway.

Very cute Walt!     A happy new year to you and yours...and don't forget to save Grandma a bit of that bubbly...she might need it the next day!

Enjoy your time together!
