For the woman who had brought so much joy to my life.
How do I begin, where do I begin, where will it all end?
Where does this overflowing cauldron of feelings flow to?
Do you feel the rhythm, can you feel the vibes?
Do you feel the way I feel?
Does your heart sings my poems?
What does your heart tell you?
Does your soul cry out for comfort?
What does your spirit seek?

Will you come away with me?
Travel with me across the timeless horizon?
Will you let me hold your hand, and will you stand by me?
Do you often think about us?

Have you ever looked at the stars and wished for my name?
Have you ever painted my picture across the empty sky?
Will you always love me the way that I do?
Do you believe in us?

Does it ever occur to you that I might not be a knight in a shining armor,
but an ordinary rider on steel horse with a rusted armor?
Will you still love me then?

Ah, when you really think about it...why would anyone want a knight in shinning armor. What did they do any way?....burn down villages and rape the women. Besides, that armor would be a bit cold to snuggle up to on a winter's night

Thanks guys for taking the time to give your comments on this poem! The fact is am still new and very nervous..not sure what to say, know what I mean?

Anyway, this is one of my fav poem, dedicated to a chat fren who lives in Sweeden(btw, I am from India)..this was written in 5 minutes without any changes to the original thoughts...she did like it!
