The tranquil dawn wakes quietly
And whispers ever so gently;
So softly she speaks her promise
Yet promises nothing – but this:
Another day – another chance
To work, to play, to sing, to dance;
To rise and greet the Master’s call;
Meet challenges that face us all;
Another day to grow to love
-be more like Him who reigns above;
For anyone who cares to see
A wealth of opportunity
Arrives with each new dawning day
-be skies quite clear or gloomy gray;
So graciously she gives to all
The rich, the poor, the great, the small;
Without regard to circumstance
She ever gives – another chance.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Echo, Eliazabeth and Rob! I'm glad you all liked it!

Rob- I don't have a clue!   hehehehe
...'she' just sounded 'softer' than 'it' or 'he'!
