My dear beloved friend
have you brought this gift to me
a gift of love everlasting
from the beautiful
heavens
of where you have gone so far away
from me?
did I recieve this treasure as a good-bye gift from you?
a forever good-bye
that tore my heart in two
did you bring me this beautiful love
to mend my heart?
to show me light?
to end my fear?
my heart will never mend
with you gone away
the light cant shine as bright
without you by my side
the fear will not disappear
even if you were here.
but the love i have
a gift as you left
has forever changed my life
and I thank you for that my dear beloved friend.

Friendship is a gift, a friendship like this is wonderful, and it leaves you with memories so precious..great poem!
