I am lost Oh I wish I were trapped in a grand devised maze At least there would be an offering of some hope But alas no walls there to swallow embrace Nor do tears trickle tracks down my long face I can only see the imagery of walking in fetters I’m not lost from God I am quite spoken for My heart beats the pace I walk forward in faith But my body seeks more sustenance indeed So singularly I seek what I really don’t need I’m not lost I’m just a weak fool Oh I feel better!! Quite a clever poem, this...and sustenance~seeking can, indeed, lead to introduction of that mistakenly lost fool in us all. I enjoyed it. |
