I won’t think depressing still I have fight
Yet gaiety would not fit here too well
I’d like to pen a love poem tonight
But that my heart is a quivering shell

I feign sleep here alone a home once gay
Whispering poetry trickles no where
I post and pray that as all of you may
A poets haven for those who do care

I sneak a smoke and smile at that
It’s beginning to shape up tonight
I found some friends you all drew me in
Whispering softly our minuscule plight
