Strangled by propriety,
Wally's lost the Beave,
Enslaved to our society,
What matters length of sleeve?
June's logged on to AOL,
Geralado's on a roll,
In nursing home a patient fell,
And Ward's done sold his soul,
Lumpy's thin and lost his hair,
Orwell's late but here,
Tamborine man's now a square,
Miss Lander's was a dear,
Boomers, Xers', who is who?
Gus gave us good advice,
Trains have long since lost their choo,
Weddings lost their rice,
Mayfield walks amid the throng,
Times Square the ball shan't drop,
To the void we all belong,
Eddie Haskell is a cop.

I'm envisioning this being sung to the theme song for the show..."starring Hugh Beaumont (in jacket and tie), Barbara Billingsly (in a crimped and pressed house dress), Tony Dow (running down the stairs), and introducing.... Jerry Mathers, as "The Beaver"....(grabbing the lunch dutifully made by Mom)..
...with Clarence Rutherford's father frantically wondering what his son has gotten into - and Eddie's ever polite greeting, "Good morning, Mrs. Cleaver." - followed by some rude comment to the "Beav".....
.....never mind.....  ... Ya had to be there!!!.... Mayberry RFD is still there, isn't it?
