This was written for me as a Christmas present. I received it from a woman who has become very important to me. Funny enough, she is my mother-in-law. (For those of you who do not know...I am divorced) She wrote this about the last few years of my life, since my divorce.

Jo, I could not completely voice my appreciation for this, for I was near tears. Thankyou for being more then family and more then a friend. I love you dearly.

Emergence to Freedom

Web like strands surrounding her,
a cystalyst of hope.
Uncertainty and harshness bind,
yet somehow she will cope.
Slowly, ever growing through,
the shell of love left weak.
She finds herself, emerging with
a better life to seek.
She spreads her wings and tests the air,
no caperpiller-she.
She's found herself, with wings of gold,
'Cause butterflies are free.

In my life, I am truely blest with people who love me. Marilyn Harrison.

Very beautiful, indeed.  I'm very glad that you have someone that lovely and thoughtful in your life.

How wonderful Maz, so big of her, I know my Mother In Law can't ever do big or thankful things like this.
You are loved my sis, never doubt that.

It's nice to know that not all things are bound by rules--this love is one of them.  Thanks for sharing it.

With a Mother-in-law that sweet, it makes up for having to go through a divorce.  This is beautiful.
