***written this March-my 1st poem ever here-posted in the OLD forums***

Sometimes when you love someone it hurts you real bad
Along with friendship come the good times and also come the sad
There are things that have to happen that affect you and your friend
And there's nothing you can do about it except wait for the end.
You wish that you could just reach out and take away the pain
But from all the grief and sorrow there is something you can gain.
Remember that the book of life never states things will be fair
And sometimes all that you can do is show your friend you care.
These situations teach you the real meaning of strife
And the lessons you will learn from them will last you all your life.

Elizabeth this is wise and wonderful.

the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

This is great.  The rhyme and the subject of it both are just great!
