Teardrops fall softly on my cheeks,
one more secret that I must keep.

One more stolen moment,
that I must hide.
Another memory to hold deep inside.

One more touch,
to make me tremble with delight.

One more kiss to remember,
deep in the quite night.

One more passionate night to file away,
to bring me sunshine
when my skies are cold and gray.

One more whispered Ilove you,
one more promise to help me through.

One more please...
one more hour together,
just you and me.

Marvelous work Betty.  Tells a story far beyond the page.  I know that feeling too.

Well written and very emotional, Betty.

Oh, Betty ... this is one of your best pieces for sure.
One can tell that it came from the heart.
Way to go gal.

jascanvey, we often think we are alone, but the good part is we are not. We have our friends here at Passions. ((( Hugs))) for you.

Elizabeth, thank you. I keep trying to share. Maybe I'll make it someday.

Thank you Georgia, I'm happy my poem touched you.

Marge, somehow you always seem to know just what I need, and where I am at. Thank you so very much.

To all of you, I'm sorry about the slow reply, but sometimes I am slow. I do find time to read all the beautiful poems here though. Thank goodness for that.

Betty,
Just now got to this poem, as you say, it takes time to read them all, but it was worth the wait. I felt the emotion in this one. Well written, dear poet

Severn... Thanks for the read. The longing, the emptiness, the pain. This part of life is not easy to write about, but it helps to try.
