        Strings of my heart

She visits me like mountain streams,
Meanders through my valleys dreams.
Bringing blooms of unconvention.
From wells of new dimension.

She babbles over aged rocks.
Leads me to the green shamrocks.
Sings to me in lovers call,
Until the day begins to fall.

She uses the wind to gain her goal
And whispers words into my soul.
She takes my hand in warm embrace
Brushes the breeze about my face.

She talks with me throughout the night.
She lights the dark with angels light.
Plucks the strings my heart knows well,
With the rings of forevers bell.

I know not how she came to be.
But thank you lord, her finding me.

Seymour -
How very lovely.
Poet and poetess complement
each other with inspiration
that spews forth beautiful verse
that we all can enjoy.
I, too, am thankful for you both.

He came to me in words of song
And would my soul just dance along
For never had I seen such light
To brighten up my darkest night
Then teach the pupil of his eye
To see what it would long deny
Til finally he lifted quill
To write this verse my heart to thrill
And now it is my teary eye
That must adjust to brighter sky
Thank you,Sy
Love ya'

Marge,
You are an apple of my eye
A delicious one I sigh. *L*
Elizabeth,
The sands of poetry inflict your eye
But it washes out with just a sigh.
Love ya,
Sy
Nan,
I sent nightengales just yesterday
you should be in a poetic way. *L* Sy
WhtDove,
The mellifluous of your remark
Has lit a candle in my dark. *L*
Echo,
Beauty see beauty, thank you.

Seymour, such beautiful words had to come from a beautiful soul. I love it.

Just had to tell you what a perfect title this is to fit this poem. "Strings of my Heart"
And like everyone else, I'll agree this was very beautiful.

Sy, I think this to be my very favorite of your works.
This is so special....

A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire!

A soul that's open
hears the song
of mountain stream
and sings along,
a rhythm born
of treasured flow
that sets this poet's
heart a glow

Beautiful Sy!

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

Some poetry touches the heart just a bit more than others do.  This is that poem for me.
