Walk softly into the night,
under the stars twinkling light.

Walk softly into the night,
beneath the pale moon's light.

Walk softly into the night,
let my courage replace thy fright.

Walk softly into the night,
let my heartbeat be thy guide.

Walk softly into the night,
let my love be your light.

Walk softly into the night,
my love awaits shinng bright.

Walk softly into the night,
but know that I am there
to hold you tight.

Walk softly into the night.

Betty, there are very nice emotions on display here and a peaceful calming effect that is very comfortable. Nice work.

This kind of brought to mind Dylan Thomas..."Do not go gently into the night..."
I liked the feel of it a lot.

Thank you lloveit. I am so pleased when other poets can see what I am trying to say and do. It gives me a much needed "boost".

Betty, I echo the thoughts and words of the many others who have read this, it really is lovely.  Wonderful poem.

Walk softly under the rain
Walk proudly forget the pain

the most important thing in this life is to keep walking
