Time We have only as much time as chance allows And quite often too little. But this precious thing, Time, I give to you. It doesn't come wrapped in delicate tissue or chilled over ice. It doesn't have the scent of exotic flowers Or the smooth glow of gold. But keep this time close to your heart, It is filled with love of the most profound kind. And love will become more valued with each of time's Increasingly rare, passing moments. |
