Hi my friends! I know it has been a real long time since I posted, but I am still here. I do come and read even though I don't always reply. Alot has been going on since I was last here. I finally gave up the home health job. I went to work in a nursing home as a CMA (certified medication aide) making $10 an hour. I have been there for about 2 months now. And, I love my job.

Also, my dad is having surgery tomorrow to remove a big mass of something on his right lung. That is the same side he had cancer in his kidney. They removed that kidney. He ahd gone to the hospital a couple of weeks ago and put some kind of tube down his throat to see if the mass was cancer or not. At that time they said it wasn't. Then they sent him for some more extensive tests to check it. He went this past Thursday for the results and found that he was going to have to have surgery Monday morning.

My muse seems to have up and left me. I haven't been able to write. As soon as she comes back (hopefully soon, I will be writing again. I have missed you all more than you know.

YOU ARE THE BEST!

Hi Sue.  My very best for your dad's recovery.  It's a hard time, I know, but hang in there.  Glad to hear that you like your new job.

Thank you all. The nodule on his lung was cancer. The doctor said he got it all. That is what the doctor said when he remove the kidney. Evidently is spreading. So my question is, how can it spread if they supposed removed it all? He is in ICU right now and will be there all night. He seems to be doing okay. He is in a lot of pain right now but they are keeping him sedated. On top of that, mom is sick with a UTI.

Wow, God must know how strong you are, for He's allowed you to contend with a lot, Sue.  It's difficult to watch your folks go through these ailments, but they're very fortunate to have you to encourage them.

Some of the sweetest gals I've known worked at a nursing home. I'm sure you're an asset to the home as you relate so well to those who are suffering.

God bless,
Rae

I'm happy that you have a new job that you enjoy, Sue, and sorry to hear about your father.
I hope everything will be okay.
I haven't been writing much either. Maybe our muses are on vacation together. I'll be here to read whenever you're ready to write.

My dad is doing better now. He still has fluid on his lungs so he is still in the hospital.
