I need to know if I typed myself into trouble with my other user name--serenity blaze. My password doesn't seem to be working and I've had several other accounts compromised recently. I DID go into the member's area to change my e mail addy and could have accidentally done something wrong as I'm unaccustomed to typing on a laptop. And Windows 7. And Google Chrome. So I'm trying this, as I have no idea if my e mail was successfully changed as my former "soliwitch" account is still not accessible, my old computer is being stripped and for now this is all I have. Could an administrator help me out please? I really need to know as my entire system was hijacked a few weeks ago.  |

As the admins don't have access to your password, Karen, if you changed something inadvertantly, there's no way that I know of that it can be checked out. Unless, of course, the Wiz can help. Did you make a "forget password" attempt? |

If it is like phpbb3, they should be able to set a new password for her and send it to her. When she logs in, then she can change it back to her own password. |

I suspect that it was my goof--I'd complete forgotten I had registered my stand by e mail under this name, and when my other email was apparently corrupted, I went into the member's area, and nod--I made a mess of things. Unless of course, serenity blaze got banned.? It would be just like me to ban myself though. I have no idea what happened...I'd just like to thank everybody for their replies to s/b...and if she's dead, she's dead. I don't really mind being Hypatia--although she didn't have an idyllic ending either--and you know what they say? The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to stop telling the story. So since no one is like, in a big hurry to um, blow on the glowing embers of the serenity blaze, I guess I'll just have to deal with things as they be.  Love to all.  (But really, if this the finale of serenity blaze, somebody write me a jazz funeral, will ya?)  |

Karen, I'm going to change the SB email address to the one you're using for Hypatia. The system will automatically send you a new password. I'll be plugging in a dummy address for Hypatia, so that account will become unreachable. Email me a valid email address for Hypatia if you want to continue using it. Sorry for the delay in responding; Mother Nature took out my electricity last week and Consumer's Energy only gave it back yesterday afternoon. |
