I could hardly wait this morning
To wish you a wonderfully happy day,
But then I started to wonder
What on earth was I going to say?

I decided to tell the world out there
Just how smart and sweet you are.
Not only a wonderful poet and writer,
But quite often your home town "crier." *

You write the songs that people sing, *
Rhyme words to make us laugh or cry,
With such a skill, and precision my dear,
AND you do poems in a wink of an eye!

What people should also know of you,
You have a heart of an angel and more,
A mentor, a patriarch, a friend to so many,
So here's to many more birthdays in store.

She has also had her songs recorded in Europe.

This has conjured up so may wonderful memories of times we spent together which are some of the fondest memories of my life. Late, but never too late to wish you many more years to come Liz. Recently I stumbled upon the photos I took when you left your key in your car and shut it. Remember that nice boy who came to our rescue? Wonderful memories of a wonderful lady with a heart as big as love can be.
