Received this e-mail concerning my poem The Dummy..

I was deeply touched and inspired to read this wonderful poem and the heartwarming thoughts behind it.

I am a designer, publisher and an editor of an annual non-profit magazine, 'India Link' This magazine is published annually and is distributed among the 500 Indian families of Western Michigan area. India Link is a non-profit community organization and the members of our community receive this magazine during the traditional functions we celebrate as a community.

We would love to publish this poem in the upcoming issue of our magazine. Could we have your/the author's permission to publish it? With your permission we would also like to add the following note with the poem:

“At India Link, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Michael Mack
and Mr. Ron Carnell and Passions in Poetry on the website -Poems for the People   - Poems by the People for expressly permitting India Link to publish this heartwarming poem”

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Kuldip Bagga

No doubt you will give permission, Ron. My question is...would you like for "from Colon, Michigan" following your name, since this is up in your neck of the woods?

Congratulations, Michael. Every day, it seems, there are more and more people out there enjoying your poetry.

And, no, I see no reason to add anything. That the main site is mentioned at all is honor enough. Thanks, though, for asking.

That's because you are the best Michael. Congrats dear friend, so that means we're getting loads of new members into the blue pages?

There are more people reading those pages than you can imagine, dutchie. Thank you all for your comments and, without Senor Ron, I would still be writing poems and shoving them in my desk drawer. We have all been given the opportunity of incredible exposure thanks to this site and we should all be very appreciative. I have no doubt we are.

I meant that in a positive way Deer and I for one know that I wouldn't have published my books if Ron hadn't created his blue pages.
