Please let the Pips chain of compassion and love
keep healing thoughts and prayers for Sue,
who will undergo surgery this Friday.
We will be sending positive thoughts
and peaceful dreams your way, sweet Sue.

My thoughts are with our Sue. She wrote me the other day that she needed surgery. Hope all is going well for her, during and after.

Kacy, thank you for posting this. You know, I am really nervous. There is going to be more to this surgery, than I thought.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. I will be staying over night in the hospital, I was told. They don’t keep you in the hospital very long at all now days. Then, I will come home. I will get back in Pip, as soon as I can sit up.

P.S. Nan, you do know me well, don’t you?

Sue, remember, I'm only an email away, and you have my cell number too.
Hope you sleep well tonight. Don't worry too much about Friday, I believe all will go smoothly for you,
and the healing will be powerful with all of us behind you.

I've been awake since 3:30 AM so must force myself to hit the sack soon.
A chemo side effect for me is insomnia, but I've never been much of a sleeper anyway, averaging 5 hours nightly since I was 5 or 6 years old. They say that's not good for your heart and may shorten your life span.
Well, I've been on 'borrowed' time most my life anyway, as I was supposed to die from double pneumonia at age 5 months. My casket had already been ordered, and my mom had picked out my burial outfit because the doctor told the family I wouldn't live through the night, was far too weak. Fooled them, didn't I? Here I am, a sassy 63 year old. LOL.

As we've talked, I know that you believe yourself that while you're a bit nervous, everything is going to go well. You're in the prayers of many; and you've a lot in your heart and on your mind just now.

I would compel you to breathe deep, rest well, and trust in your physicians, and all of the prayers surrounding you.

You're in my prayers, too, but you're in God's hands. I'm praying our Lord will guide the hands of your physician and prompt your body to heal well.

God bless,
Rae

I spoke to Sue early this afternoon and although she has pain from the operation, she is home and resting now. From what  she was told, everything was successful.

Keep her in your healing thoughts~~

Just wanted to check in and let you all know, that I am doing pretty good. I try not to stay in bed too much. Even though it hurts to move. I figure the more I move, the sooner the pain will leave.

Thank you all for being here. And, for caring. I appreciate you all. Love you all!

Sue, you know I'm still thinking of you, and will light another healing incense stick this evening.
Sadly, I've been so sick the past few days I'm having trouble even replying to emails.
Tomorrow....I expect will be better.
It's 'short' chemo day, so I should be home by 6 PM.
