Twice, since Passion's inception, we have constructed a community effort known as MY HOME TOWN. Amazingly, I see that the last one was in 2002! Where has the time gone??? Passions has grown, with participants logging in from all over the world, each with their own little unique locale. Why not share it with us? Let us see what you see when you look out of your window, when you walk down the streets of your town. Give us a glimpse of the person behind the screen name. Share your part of the world with us and let us see it with your eyes through your words.

Do not post the poems here on the site. Send them to me at balladguy@hotmail.com and I will compile them into a nice presentation. Here are the first two we have done..

I think I have participated in one of these collections, but it wasn't back in 2002 ... as I came in 2003.
I believe it could have been 2006 maybe ...
Anyway, it's great if we do this again, dear Balladeer, also because there are many new members who have never participated.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Love,
Margherita

They say the second thing to go is the memory.

I need to move, I guess, so I'll have something new to write?

LOL! Well, I guess the third thing to go is the search engine!

Oh, well...the good thing about Alzheimer's is that you get to meet a lot of new people!

Well, ya had me going there when I first popped into this post. I thought I was suffering from dementia ~ However, you have a good excuse for having a little memory lapse. ~ You recently had major surgery and were given a general amnesia. Oops-a-daisy, I meant to say "general anaesthesia"! lol

I'm glad that you have brought this proposal back up again. We have several 'newbies' and it would be wonderful to learn more about them and where they live. I suppose they would be equally interested in learning about some of 'oldies' as well!

~ Besides, I would imagine that there are members who have moved since the last posting.

I know you don't read very fast,
so I am writing this slow,
They say most accidents happen close to home,
so I moved.
I used to be a funny guy, but, ah crud,
I forgot the punch line.
Hey,  why doesn't smelling salts smell like salt?

I am positive, I think, that I have said (is writing, saying?) enough.

Tracey.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

Aha, so nice to read them again. Well didn't move and never will, or it must be feet first, but as I'm living in such a nice nature, it can't hurt to put it on display again. I'll see what I can come up with.

I hope you are ok my friend, haven't spoken to you for a long time, busy with the sheep you know.

Yay! I was wondering when we were going to have another event along these lines!

Many here will be absolutely frightened when they learn about my hometown of Portland, Oregon I'm sure! Sauerkraut festivals, naked bike rides, no sales tax, self-serve gasoline stations, erotic donut shops, farmers markets virtually every square mile ................the list goes on and on!

Sincerely,
