Brief moments at the PC are my style for now.
Thank you each, for your continued healing thoughts. After making it through radical colon surgery, I'm now on an intense nutrition regimen to strengthen my immune system and prepare my body for the possibility of chemo. The cancer has already metastasized to the liver. There are newer, less toxic treatments, and I'm hoping to qualify for some clinical trials. This is a battle I never anticipated, but then, does anyone ever expect to be told they have stage 4 cancer, especially when there were no symptoms until 4 months ago?
If anything positive can come from this, it is that all who read this will get the annual tests recommended by their physicians. Do not assume that because there is no family history (none in mine) and few symptoms of illness, that all is well inside.
Meanwhile, I am gratefully tapping into the cosmic healing energies that surround all of us, and gaining strength from this circle of friendship. (Your thoughts and prayers are more powerful than you know.)
hugs to all,
