Dear Pip friends....I appreciate each one of you taking the time to offer words of healing thoughts and prayers. I read them to Taylor just now and he was very touched.
The doctors are going to transfer him to another hospital where the radio ablasion proceedure is done, as soon as they have a bed. That could be as early as tonight, but no one seems sure. He is in a unit in the hospital that monitors his heart constantly and if anything goes too haywire, the bells and whistles go off.
He's in good spirits and has been getting support from farmily, via phone. The grandgirls especially please him when they call with, "How are you feeling, Pa". He's also enjoying teasing the nurses.
I've been staying with him all day in a very hard and uncomfortable chair with timeouts to walk the miles of halls that Kaiser is known for. Also, taking time to walk to the fast food places close by for my own food. (sans frenchfries) Did you know that Rb's makes a chicken, walnut, apple, raison salad that's great?
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!I'll write again when I have more news.
