Thank you for letting us know, Marge.  I'm sure he'll be missed by many who've never had that opportunity to meet him in person, but knew him through his poetry.

I am saddened beyond words. He was a man who made the world a better place than the one that he was born into.
The measure of a man is best illustrated by the number of people who love and admire him. It just goes to show that Seymour Tabin was a GREAT Man.

I love you, Mr. T. and I will never forget you!
I will say "Hi" to you whenever I look up at the stars at night.

God bless you and all of your loved ones,

Hugs 'n angel kisses,

Your Earth Angel,
Linda

Sy,
A class act. Never held it against me for thinking he was a girl! He'll be grately missed and long remembered. How comforting to know that we have his unique writing with which to recall him. I pray his family finds comfort and courage. God bless Sy.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Oh, dear, dear, beloved (((((((Seymour))))), I still hoped to find you back here on Pip someday with a new poem for us to enjoy. I already missed you and now to know that you won't be back is a sad sad thought.

But I know also that somewhere up there in the realms of eternity, in paradise, you are being celebrated for your presence of light. I believe you will be given the opportunity to continue to create works of art with your words, for the pleasure of those surrounding you there.

I have not met you personally, but it felt as if I had. You will forever have a place in my heart.
Thank you for all the joy and beauty and wisdom you have spread on these Pip pages.

Thank you dear Marge for letting us know and for your love-filled words.

With loving kindness
Margherita as always

Even though I knew it was coming - today I am still in a state of shock.  I feel a space in my heart that no one will ever fill like our Randy Dragon. It is in the remembering of this man's humor that I find a smile within the tears on this sad day.

Thank you Marge, for letting us know and for doing so in your kind and beautiful way. I've been out of town for a couple of weeks and didn't know.

My dear Sir Tabin.... he will be missed so very much. His legacy of kindness, gentle humor and wonderful poetry will keep his light shining here for a very very long time - a continuing inspiration to all who come here. My prayers are with his family and friends. He is loved.

I'm stunned and feel like yet another void has been created inside me with the passing of a truly great man.  I have been preoccupied with everything else and haven't been here in too long, and upon returning to "check-in" on the main poetry page hoping to find Sy's name (his poetry was traditionally always the first I would read when revisiting PIP), I got an uneasy feeling that was verified by this post...  I remember that many of his later poems were self reflective regarding how he felt and how it seemed he was tired and "winding down"....  But I will always remember him for the flawless sonnets he would write DAILY, filled with art, passion, observation, thought, symmetry, rhyme, technique, humor, emotion, and the gamut of human experience he so aptly and poignantly was able to express and share with all of us lucky enough to have known about PIP.  He was such a gracious man who would always find the time to read my poetry and leave some kind words of encouragement.

Sy, though I never met you in person, I will miss you immensely for the spirit of yours which shared with me words of inspiration every time I visited PIP.  I will miss your interactions with all of our fellow poets on the site.  I wish you would have taken my sincere advice to you, time and again, and published your poems for the world to appreciate, but then again, you did via the Internet through PIP...  I wish I could have said goodbye, but then, "See you soon" would fare better, somewhere down the eternal road.  May I end this free-flow of gratitude by returning your quote to me:  "You are a Scholar and a Gentleman."  Fare well, my friend...  Namasté.
