hi there, thought you’d like a little update. Krissy poor love is still in quite a bit of post-natal pain, she’s been back to the hospital to have some more stitches and they will reassess the situation in a few months. (Apparently the doctor who stitched her up after the birth dropped a few stitches so she had a bit of a gap). Do not ask me to take a closer look it will NOT happen.

As for Ami, she seems to shrink each time I see her, but she is now a massive 6lb 3oz as of Friday 30th August 07. She is alert, and has all her normal reflexes, so tiny though she is she is absolutely perfect and whole. I have to keep getting her smaller and smaller outfits, if there seem to be a predominance of pink can I help that? I don’t think I can, it is just that so many beautiful outfits just happen to come in pink.

Baby Ami dreams away
While Krissy and Ant wake for the day
But when the night arrives, oh dear
Ami wails so loud that Krissy has a fear
That never will she sleep all through
Until the sun and the misty dew
Kiss the earth with its morning breath
Ami scares her mummy half to death

Baby Ami is very good with me
But not with her mum unfortunately
When Krissy feeds her as she must
Since breast is best it is from her bust
Ami does not suckle very quietly
Nor is she gentle as she could be
Krissy says it is a real pain
But she struggles on for Ami to gain

Baby Ami looks sweet and good
And with me she behaves, as she should
But with Krissy the story is quite different
Poor Krissy asks if that is what I meant
When I said that revenge is so sweet
And the method of it is so beautifully neat
Ami is giving to Krissy what she did to me
When I was her mum, and she the baby.

Baby Ami is perfect I love her true
And no matter what Krissy does too

Well Grandma, I'm sure Krissy will be proud we all know so many details!

Give Krissy, Ami and yourself a big hug from this Dutchie, who is way too late with her congratulations.
I'm sure all will end up well. Stupid doctor though.
