Hello PIP~ Soon after my requisite 50th post...I submitted a photo for upload into my profile...but it has not appeared yet...just thought I would ask...in case it was stuck in cyberspace somewhere. Thank You~ |

It's not so much lost as it was overlooked? Our system isn't terribly smart, I'm afraid. The instructions for uploading a photo specify a jpg graphic, and it's just not smart enough to know that a jpeg graphic (which is what you uploaded) is essentially the same thing with a different file extension. So, the software never told anyone here that your picture had arrived. I only found it by looking directly on the disk. I could rename your photo and approve it, but it has other problems as well. Those same instructions for uploading specify a 100 by 150 pixel image, and yours is only 99 by 80. I can crop and reduce a photo for you, but trying to blow it up and then crop it usually results in less than satisfactory results. It's better if you upload one too large than one too small. I suggest you try again? Finally, if this is a picture of you, I want to congratulate you on a very professionally done photograph. The lighting is beautiful. If it's not a picture of you, however, those upload instructions cover that, too.  |

thanx so much for looking into this for me...I do have the original scanned image...but that file I think is waaaay too big...I will try it again though, if you are able to crop it....I'm not very good with all this technology... thanx so much~ |

OK, well that failed..lol~ The system wouldn't let me upload it though I played with the image size using my PHOTOBucket options...it's either too small or too big to upload.  I'll see if I can get some help and try again~ Thanx Ron~ |

if you want to send it to me in the full size I can try and make it smaller for you. I have done that in the past for others..then send it back to you and you can have it uploaded... we can at least try ...if you want and send it to this address though nakdthoughts@aol.com Maureen |

still waiting for it to come to that address...make sure you copied it exactly as is since I leave out a vowel... it may just take a bit longer to receive but I sent myself an email from another address to make sure that one works and I got it right away. I will patiently wait for it to come  M |
