A sweet 54 year old cousin, Donna, has been undergoing chemo and radiation for cancer in her ovaries, uterus, cervex and leg. They're not sure where it originated, but it isn't responding well to the treatments.

As usual, Donna laughed and tried to make light of her issues when I talked with her.

Friday, her oncologist said she could 1) take a more intensified radiation, 2) do nothing more or 3) opt for exploratory surgery.  She's scheduled for July 9th surgery.  The cancer appears to be pretty widespread and getting it all removed in surgery is a very high hope. In fact, if it's too extensive they'll just abandon surgery.  Her chances are slim, even at best.

She's been doing the hour long drive from home to treatments, and back alone up until the last 2. Her great husband said there's a 4th option of devine intervention and that's the one he'll count on mostly.

Every prayer any Pipster will say on her behalf is greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless!

  Rae

Rae, my thoughts, prayers and loving hugs are being sent Donna's way. May a band of healing angels surround her and bring her peace of mind and ease her pain and suffering. As a nurse, I have witnessed many miraculous recoveries. I am praying that she will have one as well. God bless her and all those who love her.

Love & Healing Light,

EA

(angel comfort and healing hugs) Oh Rae, I believe her husband is absolutely right that divine intervention is ever so often the best option, and remedy, to depend on for healing, and I believe with just a beacon of faith, Donna will perservere, and win, this ordeal as with any!

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with Donna, all her loved ones and you, as I am optimistic with the help of this healing circle, your sweet cousin will prevail! God Bless You, and please keep us posted, my friend!

Love,
Noah Eaton

How very thankful I am for each of your prayers.  It means more than I can say.  Now it's iffy on the scheduled surgery due to blood counts being low due to the treatments.  So we're praying they come up in line so surgery can take place.

I'll keep you informed when I hear more.

Tomorrow is surgery day for Donna.  What they find, once in there will determine whether they try to remove cancerous organs and surrounding tissue, or if cancer has spread too extensively.

Prayers will be appreciated.
Thank you and God bless.

Great news!  Donna's surgery went well.  A tumor was wrapped around some of her organs but they believe they got it all and she will not have to get any more chemo. She may be going home in three or four days.

Thanks be to God for His mercy and the support of each of you who prayed for her.  I'm shedding tears of joy!

Loving thanks to each,
     Rae

Just amazing... Thank God.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
