Please pray for my twin sister, Sharon. She will be undergoing a laperoscopy and most likely surgery tomorrow. She was admitted through the ER today with severe abdominal pain and fever that was not responding to treatment over the past few days. This is not how she and her husband had planned to spend their vacation week. They were scheduled to fly out of Philadelphia this past Saturday for a week in the Bahamas. But due to the storm and the airport chaos, they couldn't go. But she does see the blessing in the cancelled trip. She wouldn't want to be out of the country and have to go to an unfamiliar hospital and not being sure if their insurance would be fully acceptable. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. |

Prayer for your sister is now being said. Sounds like a blessing in disguise...the storm delay. I thank God for that intervention and ask that He continue watching over Sharon. ((((hugs)))) Rae |

Thank you so much everyone. She is in recovery right now. Her husband said she can't wait to tell the doctor "told you so". It turned out to be appendicitis...the very thing they had previously ruled out. I'm praising God that all turned out well and that it didn't rupture. Thanks again for all your prayers everyone. |

Thanks again everyone. Yes, please continue to keep her in your prayers. She has had a rough recovery period so far (which hasn't been easy for me emotionally...I feel absolutely drained). She had to go to the doctor on Friday for a fever. He prescribed two new antibiotics to which she had an allergic reaction after taking. And then last night she had to go back to the E.R. for pain and clamminess and just plain feeling lousy. The blood work and Cat Scan came back clean. The doctor thinks she may have caught a virus on top of everything else. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers. |

I've no doubt, dear one, that you are emotionally and mentally drained. Being a twin will do that to you. Your sister is going to recover, and she will be by your side when you need her. You are both in my thoughts, and prayers. |

All the prayers and well wishes are lovely! Thank you all so much. I'm starting to catch my breath, I think. She still isn't feeling like her old self yet but the doctor gave her a clean bill of health today. It was the first time that she ever had surgery of any kind and I guess she didn't know to expect to feel lousy for awhile. Thanks again everyone. |
