Dear Poet friends,

it is with great pleasure that I inform you that Eric P. McCarty's new book "Have Faith in Empty Things" is now available at Barnes & Nobles, as well as at Xlibris.

I will just say that it is a wonderful creation.

Another published poet!  My goodness, but bounty is plentiful when it comes to belief in one's self...

Eric, I already have one of your books.  On to the next!

Thank you, Margherita, for letting us know of this wonderful accomplishment!

"If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive."
-- Eleonora Duse (1858– 1924), Italian actor

Thank you for this url. It caused me to write and thank my family. Yes I will have to read this book. sincerely, martyjo

"I read this and oh how I remember how I loved to be out in the woods, looking for the first violet in spring, the dew drops on a spider's web, round smooth stones and rocks, the elusive bird singing to me. The sunflower pushing itself up from the gutter in East Haven that Jan and I saw one day. Dead bleached tree limbs in the woods while walking with Rick,Jason and Zac. Tom holding a frog so tenderly. The willow tree in the back yard, the stream they dammed for goldfish to grow into carp.  East Rock  and the many walks I took though there over the teen years and later from West hills through West Rock nature center. And oh I am so thankful for all those days and for all my family, who have once again proved themselves to me. Thank you all for all you have done, yesterday, today and I hope tomorrow to make this world a little better place to be.. mom"

Thank you all my dear friends, it's so nice that you share in this joy of accomplishment. Eric's poetry always makes you feel involved in his thoughts, in his visions and discoveries and accompanies perfectly well our own meditations, as dear Marty shows. Your words will stir in their turn the hearts of those who will read them. This is an example of how we fill emptiness and create connections and emotions that make us realize our closeness to others, and of course to the Divine Source of Creation, God and Nature.
Thank you!
Love,
Margherita

Thank you, Margherita for letting us know.

Eric, you are one of the only poets that touches a place I've seen but not had the words for.  Thank you for that.  Congratulations!

I'm thrilled to hear of your accomplishment Eric...and thank you M, for letting us know.
I admire both of your writings, and certainly am not surprised how others have caught on.
