Greetings all! My name is Kaveh Akbar, I'm a fairly well-published poet, and I've got this little for-charity zine called "The Quirk". Through the sales of the paper, as well as associated merchandise (T-shirts, CD's, etc), The Quirk has raised over $3,000 in the past year for good causes around the world. I post here to tell you that The Quirk is still accepting submissions for it's inaugural creative writing issue. Poets with their work appearing in said issue include S.A. Griffin, justin.barrett, David Blaine, JD Nelson, Michael Lee Johnson, Luis Cuauhtemoc Berriozabal, and Glenn W. Cooper. There's still time to get your name on that list, and to contribute to The Quirk's charitable endeavors. Go to http://www.geocities.com/quirkpaper to see the website and read the submission guidelines, but basically, send me 3-5 poems at quirkpaper [at] gmail.com, and include your name and a brief bio.
