If there were a wish to bequest
a birthday greeting at its best
it would be to linger upon
a Poet in her dream along....

She writes of things, then seemingly
writes of things that really can't be
But there they are, for you and me;
reach and then touch; for they are free...

Like her spirit, which is so strong!
And of her love, that lasts SO long!
And of her timber, give it note!
A poem by you, should, could be wrote...

Today is Our Flower Girl's day
wish her well, give it your best way;
light some candles, and shed the light...
make our Flower Girl's day this bright!

but still I answer her bequest
because you touch each one of us
with feel of nature's gentle glove.

And, Martie, I don't know you well,
But think your poems are really swell.
They flow in spirit, grace and color
So I will always want another!

Yes she is our flower girl
who gifts with heart
and then she twirls
and whirls words
taken from thin air
and dots them with love
and writes them with flair,

so with friendship and love
