Dear New Friends, I came here on July 9th. I was brought by a friend and she gave me one of the best birthday presents anyone could get. I am amazed at the friendships and creativity I see here. I am in awe of the compassion and the feedback. I don't consider myself close to being a good poet, yet - I feel this encouragement and friendship. And I feel it directed towards me. Quite frankly, this is a bit amazing. Seeing how long some of you have been here, and knowing that you are the reasons that PiP exists as it does, can be a bit intimidating. However, the lack of snobbery and elitism made me feel at home here. Gushing is not my style, but I did want to simply say 'thank you' - my words got away from me (again). Thank you. aziza |

Ya' know I'm rarely here anymore and not sure I've read your writing. But I sure remember feeling that way when I arrived. But how good it is to feel at home here. How kind of you to say so. And now you've raised my curiosity about your writing.  Okay so why can't I find any writing by you?  That doesn't seem right!  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

I don't consider myself close to being a good poet, yet - ~*~ Why not? You write, don't you? If you write like a poet, and post like a poet... you're a poet. Now, do you dream poetry? aha...  I thought so! |

:: laughs :: I don't because I don't ... But, I do sing in my sleep (or so I have been told) and I do dream in words. Thank you both - the fact is, this is a wonderful place to be. |

It's one thing to find a site that fits your criteria, but the inspiration, encouragement and compassion here is unsurpassed. I haven't been writing for a while, yet I enjoy interactions with this great group Ron hosts. Rae |

You know I remember when this place wasn't this place at all. It was just a little site and we still shared our love for each other this way. I'm glad that you can be apart of PiPs. I'm glad that I'm apart of PiPs. I've had more love and support shown here than most places! I also realize that if I need prayers or an online hug or anything really I can ask!! I love my PiPs family!!! I just wish I could be here more. Anyway,welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy your stay! I felt the same way when I first got here. Thank you to Larry for the invite along the way. You know how much that means to me! I enjoy reading everyones poetry here, even though I seldom write anymore. Time will only tell. |
