I've learned a lot the last couple weeks. I went from being very self concious and shy in my first job interviews. I did 8 so far so I got more comfortable as I went.  Then I got an interview that was amazing, I walked out of the interview with a full time job and I start this friday! My best friend works in the upstairs bed and bath dept. and I work downstairs in the womens dept.  We live 2 blocks from each other best friends and our shifts are at the EXACT same time. Carpooling is going to be great will save both of us on gas.

Today something on my car decided to blow up. I am  exaggerating it just made like a pop noise but my manual car now only goes 20 mph so theres something seriously wrong with it.  BUT!!!! my family is going to fix it for me and let me pay them back when I get the chance. I am really thankful for my family right now.

My grandmother is in intensive care right now she has a form of throat cancer and isnt doing well and I hope to go visit her in a few hours. I am praying for her as much as I can, and any prayers that you can uplift her in would be much appreciated.

Thank you all for lifting me up when I needed a shoulder to lean on. It is so great to have all of you in my life.  Love and Blessings to all.

Thank you so much Dixie. I will definately have them check and see if its the clutch. The men here are convinced its the cadilitic converter whatever that is.

Grandma is doing alright for now. Just making her comfortable.

I don't know Kellie...I always try to do research when the shop is looking at my car

here's a link to howstuffworks...I looked it up and it doesn't sound like it would be the problem...but I know nothing about cars so luckily I have good mechanics that are usually right and wouldn't try to con me

Kellie, I'm so happy to learn you're feeling better and starting a new job.  Sorry about your Grandmother, who I just said a prayer for.  It's hard to watch someone fade regardless of their age.

May God richly bless you,

    Rae

Grandma is doing okay. Nothing really going on to report except that we have time on our side with her right now.

Everyone is coming to terms with the fact that she will be gone soon.

My car is getting fixed tomorrow! Big smiles there. Thanks Dad for sending me the cash! <- Was the clutch!!!! Dixie you are amazingly savvy. We thought it was the catalitic converter! You are a lifesaver!

Work is amazing. I love it.  Lots of entertaining things so far. Oh not to mention amazing conversations with AMAZING Co-workers.  I'll have to tell ya the funny stuff ive seen at work...

Yesterday I had 87 bucks in quarters i had to count when I cashed out my till at the end of the night... what a task.

And did you know that JC Penney doesnt supply their registers with Dimes... its an old company policy... I thought that was cool!

Ok, I'll bite.
Why not?

And, I have been keeping your grandmother close in my thoughts, little one.

Grandma is doing well!!! thank the Lord. She isn't out of the woods but she is doing well.  Thank you for the prayers...

James Cash Penney didnt want his stores to be associated with "dime" stores... apparently back in his day you could get a shirt for a dime. Anyway we don't give dimes unless a customer gives them to us. Its facsinating
