Life really gets a kick out of throwing curveballs. After moving out and being on my own for almost 2 years I found that I wasn't "mature" enough and that I wasn't quite ready to take flight. I have returned home to learn some important life lessons.

1. It's okay to fail. You just have to try harder next time.

2. It's okay to ask for help. Not everyone can be perfect all the time.

I have job interviews lined up at various places in the upcoming weeks.  I am trying to get my life back in order, but for now I am back home in Bothell Washington.  It is great to be back home, with my friends and family that I know care about me.  I really took that for granted, but luckily reconciliation is a good thing.

Its good to get on here and read the amazing and encouraging words!

Kellie, it is really tough out there for young people these days!  Heck, it's tough for some of us older folks, too.  Not so easy starting out sometimes.  I have a daughter about your age and she is really struggling, too.  She had to take a job which is totally not in her field of interest just to scrape by.  I wish she'd come home and get on her feet so she could pursue her true dreams, but she's pretty headstrong.  Use this time to stuff money back for a second start...it takes money to make money....that's pretty much how things are these days.  But, good for you for surrounding yourself with a good support system; it helps!

I hope mine has enough sense to do the same as you. I'm happy for you and I hope things work out.

Yeah, I think if I stayed out on my own I would probably end up deep into debt or something really bad. I want to get my car paid off, and save up some money for things that are unexpected, that sort of thing.

Our 34 year old son came home when the place they went to work (stringing fiber optic cable) went on strike.  He had a crew all staying in a motel, which broke him.  Up until then he'd done very well working in IL, WI, TX, WV and MI. It was like his world fell apart.

I pray this gives you some needed breathing room, to be more secure by your next launch.  Once you've been on your own, it's a little harder living at home again, but thank God for the safety net.

God Bless you,
    Rae
