Hello friends...I'm here to thank you again for holding me up with your prayer and friendship wings...there are really not enough words to say it right..I hope you know.

I'm feeling stronger every day.  My eyesight is still a problem as I see two different things with each eye, so when I put them together...yikes!  I am so glad I can read the computer!  Things are still up in the air as far as my brain condition goes.  They removed the tumor..a 4" menengioma on the right frontal lobe...it was not cancerous!!  The grand mall seizure I had before...was the indicator.  I am still on anti seizure meds and blood pressure meds that I suddenly had a need for.  The chance of seizure would still be possible without the meds.  I have two titanium plates now holding my skull together.  An MRI and appointment with neurologist will be coming up early next month and I'll know more then.  Pip continues to be my life line...as I can't drive or get out much...my friends and poetry here are invaluable.  I hope to be able to write more poetry soon....I feel it there, just need to open a word to get it started.

Thank you with all my heart for being here for me!

wonderful news Martie..and  since one of my best friends has gone through what you did  about 3 years ago..I understand the anxiety and healing process.

Just  remember to let anyone you know who is in your circle of loving friends and family know what to do in case you have one of those seizures again.(he would have them if he forgot to take his seizure medicine) I was alone with him when it happened and didn't know how to react when he couldn't tell me what was happening. I told him he should have a small notice somewhere in the house in case it happened again.

Healing hugs and prayers

It's so wonderful to have you back so soon after something as threatening as this. Take your time healing and getting your strength back. We will be here. As for words, I have no doubt they shall flow from that bubbling spring called Martie, Pips flower girl and number one sweetheart.

You're an inspiration, Martie - I can't imagine experiencing all that you have and coming out in one emotional piece.  You're wonderful, and I'm very, very, glad that you're recuperating as well as you are...

You were already one of my heroes, you know....I already wanted to be like you when I grew up! Now, you're something out beyond that.

For the rest, well, what Sunshine said....and maybe a touch of Nightshade's comment on the side......

You are a strong woman, Martie! You're pulling through this just fine.... It will take some time, sure, but you are a lucky lady. You've gone through a lot and you have lot of beautiful years ahead of you. I can't wait to read the poetry you will write inspired by your fortitude and strength and the healing! Your eyes see clearly into many levels of how life works and the world is grateful for your insights! You hang in there and take it slow and steady... believe in your healing because it will happen 100%! Thank you for posting this... You are in my prayers.

Martie Girl,

From my first visit to PIP, I have found you to be one of the most beautiful blossoms in the garden here.

You are held up to the sunshine, and among so many esteemed people that have touched my life, all because of this joy of poetry and the thirst to share it.

Even more so, have I found in you such a beautiful soul, that these pages would be less without your loving touch.

All prayers and blessing to you Martie.
You are our strength, and when you need it, we will always be yours.

Hugs,
TD

Especially glad that the tumour wasn't cancerous.  My son had a plate put in his head when he was 8 - he had a roller-skating accident while staying with his father for a holiday - and although it took a while for him to recover completely, he did and doesn't have any trouble with it any more.  He had recurring headaches for quite a while, especially if he was in the sun for too long, but now he doesn't have any at all and he has a brown belt in karate, does kite-surfing and is a financial advisor.  I know you will recover completely as well, especially with all our prayers.

Love

Popping in again to say that it warms the cockles of my heart so much to see how loved you must feel with so many of us caring so much for such a worthy, warm-hearted, wonderful person.  May that love (I know it does, you have said so often) help to heal you completely as soon as possible, along with our prayers and your good sense, and your feisty courage.

Much love
