My older sister, with multiple medical problems, was just diagnosed with breast cancer now, too.  Her daughter and son are facing a very rough road because my sister doesn't understand or appreciate the circumstances.  It's a most difficult time for each of them and any prayer said in their behalf would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much,

   Rae

Rae,
How sad for your family. I pray for each of you for strength, courage and peace. And for your sister healing. Bless you all.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Rae, you know you have mine.

I just heard today that a younger cousin
of my husband's has been given the short
time frame on her recently diagnosed
lung cancer.  With treatment, she can
probably double her time to live -
to two years.

I'm so touched by the caring thoughtfulness from each of you. The power of prayer cannot be underestimated and I'll pass your kind responses on to the family.  Today they learned what type of treatments would be best given the circumstances.

It doesn't appear there's much hope of my sister surviving more than a couple of years at best, due to her lung disease and other problems, so I pray she's not going to have to cope with heavy duty cancer treatments during what little time she has.  i'm anxious to hear what transpired.

Thanks to each of you from the bottom of my heart.

Some good news to report.  The plan for my sister's breast cancer is to do a lumpectomy, combined with oral medication.  They'd suspected cancer in her female organs, but now it apprears that's probably not what it is.  She'll need a hysterectomy, but not necessarily immediately.  She's feeling much better, and they're searching for assisted living quarters, which she's now open to.

God does answer prayer.  Thank you all so much.  She still has some issues to deal with but it's not as dark and ugly as it appeared for a bit.  Thanks be to God.
