City of Roses
Over the weekend, I attended a huge KBOO meeting determining KBOO volunteers' desires and wishes for where we want the future of our PM newscast to go, and have considered various ideas, from airing Free Speech Radio News in its entirety from 5:00-5:30 P.M, to focusing on community-reporting more.
In addition, because I'm seen as very upbeat and creative around the station, everyone wanted me to begin a new lighter side of the news segment, as I have suggested for a while we introduce a little of that element so that listeners won't be left simply shaking their heads in frustration and drown in cynicism, and having a sigh of relief so to speak can help bring the endorphins back in, and beginning today, I will begin it, yay!
Yay, at around 6:00 Pacific Standard Time Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, you can find the first edition posted on the web-site, or you can tune in live from 5:30-6:00 Pacific Standard Time and listen, yay!
