Hello everyone,

My Grandpa has had bone cancer at least he was diagnosed, just before the holidays last year. He has had cancer before so they were unable to do radiation and he was opposed to chemo. They started him on some sort of iv meds once a month almost 9 months ago. This morning he was admitted to the hospital cause he needed blood and tests have shown his blood is going into the boone marrow. Im not exactly sure what that means yet. Any prayers you are able to add to your list for my Grandpa and my Grandma who is also having a very tough emotional time of it will be very grateful. My Grandpa is a very strong man who I know will not go without a fight. Matter of fact when he was told he had to go to the hospital today by his dr, he said, "After I clean out my barn." My uncles will be cleaning out his barn and taking care of the animals for him. Thank you.

Adding your Grandpa and family to my prayer list.  It's difficult facing the unknown ravages of cancer, especially right at Christmas time.

  God bless you all.

I like a grandpa with spunk...and priorities.  You tell them they are in my prayers, and that I wish you all as Merry A Christmas as possible!

Thank you all for the prayers. The blood is not going into his marrow. My Grandma has a tendency to get things mixed up sometime and not knowing myself how it all worked I didn't know at the time to question that. His blood marrow is not working right and even after 2 pints of blood there seems to be no difference. He has a smile on his face when I go see him, and wants out of the hospital. He had a bone scan today and will have a chest something tomorrow or Monday. Also they will be giving him more blood tomorrow and will hopefully find where he is losing the blood from soon.

The bone scan that was run on Christmas Eve came back on Christmas and it showed G-pa is full of cancer. He was released from the hospital on Christmas with all other treatments that had been previously planned canceled. Please keep my family as well as Lost Dreamer in your prayers as Lost Dreamer is very close to my family as well. This is going to be a long battle.

                                Thanks,

                                   Dawn

Oh, dear Dawn, sending heart hugs, for you and everyone close to your spunky G-Pa. May his remaining time be as pain free and family filled as possible.
