Today is a special day...an anniversary of a loss; a belated acknowledgement of a beginning.  Thank you all for hugging in, holding on, believing with me, and asking for the second book.  It will come....and to borrow a loving and well-known phrase from the blue walls, "soon".

It is very important to acknowledge that the ones that I miss so much are watching over us all of the time; and that means your beloveds are watching, as well.  I do not think we are meant to go through life without some link to another space or place to look forward to; otherwise, the recycling that life does on its own might not happen...if for not the idea of regeneration, in any form.

Ergo...everafter.

I've come to a stage in life that I must say to myself, "there's only this many hours in a day" and perhaps start abiding by them, if for no other reason than to get the second book done.

It is sometimes a difficult decision on how to prioritize "wants" instead of "needs".  I've been too long in the land of "needful"...now it is time to indulge, a while, in the "wantful" of dreams. What I want, needs to find its own space to grow.

With all of you being there...

I know it will happen.

Yes, please! Perhaps it's just putting other's wants ahead of your own needs, to get another book cranked out.  Talent, you know, should not be wasted and your first book shows an abundance. I'll be in line, too.

Rae, thank you, and all of you, for reading this ongoing thread.  In a short two weeks, my workload has increased evermore than it was!  Hard to believe.  But, luckily, my boss is a great guy, loves to tell a joke, doesn't mind "splitting the madness" with some hilarity, and even pokes fun at himself.  Now there's a boss one can appreciate!!

So, ok, it's got to slow down sometime... I've got to find some more energy somewhere...and one of these days my dreams will cease from keeping my nights so busy that I wake up [as serenity says] "tard"!

And then of course, there's the thought of retirement, soon to be only 7 years away...

hee hee hee...

I guess tonight I could say that's a good thought to getting OLD....
